The 3 Day Lent is held in commemoration of the 3 days that Jonah was held in the belly of the Fish and there God heard the prayer of the son of Mattay and on the 3rd day he was dropped off on the shores of Nineveh.

 

St. Mary’s Jacobite Syrian Soonoro Church, Sharjah – UAE are holding a 3 Day Convention on February 14, 15 & 16, 2011 starting on the 3rd Monday before the Great Lent.
