The week for Church Unity, jointly organized by the World Council of Churches and the Pontifical Council for Church Unity, Vatican was observed at St. Mary’s Jacobite Syrian Orthodox Church, Mazhuvangadu, Tiruvalla on 20th January, Thursday. Geevarghese Mor Themotheos of Malankara Catholic Church inaugurated the prayer meeting. Rt. Rev. Dr. Sam Mathew delivered the message and Dr. Mor Coorilos Geevarghese of the Jacobite Syrian Orthodox Church presided over the meeting which was attended by several priests, nuns and lay people representing various churches in and around Thiruvalla.
