Mor Coorilos joins the Parliament March for Dalit Christian Reservation in Delhi

 

 

New Delhi: Mor Coorilos Geevarghese, Metropolitan of Niranam diocese joined the hunger strike and Parliament March, jointly organized by the National Council of Churches in India and the Catholic Bishops Conference of India at Ramleela Maidan in New Delhi on Thursday 28 July 2011. Around ten thousand people participated in the March. The March and the hunger strike were organized to demand the rights of reservation for Christians and Muslims of Dalit background. Around 35 bishops from various churches led the March.
