The current year will be celebrated as ‘Holy Word Year’ by Syrian Orthodox Church Youth Association UAE Zone. “Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path.” – Psalms 119:105 (Vishudha Grantham: Psalms 118:105) will be the motto of SOCYA UAE Zone for the year 2013-2014.

‘Holy Word Year’ will be celebrated to encourage and promote the practice and values of learning our Holy Book, among the youth belonging to Jacobite Syrian Orthodox Parishes in UAE.
