The Apostolic Delegation from Lebanon visited St. Marks Coptic Orthodox Cathedral in Kuwait. Fr. Pigol Anba Bishoy, the Vicar, together with the assistant priests and the Board of Directors gave a warm reception to the Metropolitans. His Eminence Mor Theophilos George Saliba, The Secretary to the Universal Syrian Orthodox Church Holy Episcopal Synod emphasized the strong relationship among the Churches. St. Peter always called St. Mark, his disciple as “my son”. Such a strong and hard relationship existed between them. The Syrian Orthodox Church and Coptic Orthodox Church always have the feeling that”we are one”. In the first Diptych (Tubden), both Churches remember the Patriarchs of two Churches. Their Eminences the Metropolitans Mor Chrisostomos Michael and Mor Osthatheos Issac expressed sincere thanks for all the help and support the Coptic Church extending to the Syrian Orthodox Community in Kuwait. Rev. Fr. Sajan John, the Vicar and Committee Members of St. George Universal Syrian Orthodox Reesh Church also accompanied the Apostolic Delegation. Special prayers were conducted in the Cathedral for peace in Syria and Egypt.
