Basil C. Elias won the first prize of Essay Writing Competition about the life & teachings of St. Athanasius Paulose by Viswasasamrakshakan in association with Antioch Viswasa Samrakshana Samithy & Mor Behnan Study Circle (MBSC) held on 27 December 2009,  at Puthencruz. 32 candidates from all over Malankara participated in the competition.
