Welfare Scheme-2012 inaugurated at Bahrain St. Peter's Jacobite Syrian Orthodox Church

 

 

The Bahrain St. Peter’s Jacobite Syrian Orthodox Church officially inaugurated its ‘Members Welfare Scheme-2012’, a free insurance scheme for all members, in a glittering members get-together and gala dinner night held at Indian School Auditorium. Mr. Gaurav Gandhi, the Second Secretary at the Embassy of India, inaugurated the scheme by lighting the lamp and the Vice President Mr. K.M. Kurian received the nomination form from the Vicar Fr. Benny Abraham. Indian School Chairman Mr. Abraham John and St. Mary’s Cathedral Vicar Fr. Jacob Koshy rendered felicitation messages. During the meeting, prizes were distributed to the winners of this year’s ‘Adults Competitions’ and ‘Charity Awareness Drawing and Colouring’ competitions. The individual Champion Mrs. Molly Baby, who secured highest points in the Adults Competitions, was crowned as the ‘Knight of St. Peter-2012’. Various cultural programmes were performed by the Sunday School children and Area Unit members. The Church Secretary Chev. Thomas Abraham welcomed the guests and the Treasurer &General Coordinator of the programme Mr. George Thomas Proposed the vote of thanks.
