His Holiness Patriarch celebrated the Holy Qurobo for Syriac Orthodox Parishes in UAE.

On November 9, 2018, His Holiness Patriarch Mor Ignatius Aphrem II celebrated the Holy Qurobo for the parish of St. Ignatius in Dubai, U.A.E.

He was assisted by their Eminences: Mor Barthelmaus Nathanael Youssef, Patriarchal Vicar in the UAE and the Arabain Gulf, Mor Philoxenus Mattias Nayis, Patriarchal Vicar in Germany, Mor Clemis Daniel Kourieh,Metropolitan of Beirut.

Their Eminences: Mor Osthatheos Ishaq, Metropolitan of Mylapore and Delhi and Patriarchal Vicar in the U.A.E., Mor Gregorios Joseph, Metropolitan of Cochin, and Mor Timotheos Matthew, attended the qurobo.

In his sermon, His Holiness spoke about the consecration of the Church, and that the Church is the congregation of faithful rather the just buildings. He emphasized that the parish is formed of faithful who are in unity with the priest, just as is the case in St. Ignatius parish.



During the Qurobo, His Eminence Mor Barthelmaus Nathanael gave a small word in which welcomed His Holiness and praised his service to the Holy Church of Antioch, and the great and overwhelming love he showed to his spiritual children in the Vicarate of the U.A.E. and in all the archdioceses worldwide.
