His Holiness Patriarch was received at St. Ignatius Syriac Jacobite in Dubai.

On November 10, 2018, His Holiness Patriarch Mor Ignatius Aphrem II was received at St. Ignatius Syriac Jacobite in Dubai, by the clergy and faithful of our Church.

He then presided over the evening (ramsho) prayer at the cathedral.

Their Eminences: Mor Osthatheos Ishaq, Metropolitan of Mylapore and Delhi and Patriarchal Vicar in the U.A.E., Mor Barthelmaus Nathanael Youssef, Patriarchal Vicar in the UAE and the Arabain Gulf, Mor Gregorios Joseph, Metropolitan of Cochin, Mor Philoxenus Mattias Nayis, Patriarchal Vicar in Germany, Mor Clemis Daniel Kourieh, Metropolitan of Beirut, and Mor Timotheos Matthew, attended the prayer.

At the end of the prayer, His Holiness spoke about the renewal of the Church, and that the Church consists of the faithful united with the pastor around the one altar. He also spoke about the importance of peace between the faithful, and the significance of the unity of faith.
